Cadillac

Cadillac was founded in 1902 and is one of the worlds oldest car manufacturers. It was only six years before it was swallowed up by General Motors and has been their predominant luxury division ever since.

Cadillacs fortunes have varied over the years, from its heyday in the nineteen fifties and sixties, to the lows of the J-Body Cimarron and the Catera based on an Opel Omega.

Since the mid noughties, Cadillac has been on a resurgence, with a range more focussed on young professionals and performance. Despite this, they have still yet to gain a foothold in Europe, despite multiple attempts but remain popular in North America and China.
