The third generation CR-X differed from the previous models by offering a removable roof panel and focusing more on style than speed.
Most models came with a manually removable roof that stored in the boot, but in Japan and Europe an automated version was available where the boot lid raised to roof height and uses a pair of forks to collect the roof and stow it back in the boot.
