Known in some markets as the Mazda 929 and others as the Mazda Sentia, but was not sold new in the UK.
In Japan it was also sold as the Efini MS-9 under Mazdas brief plan to diversify with multiple divisions.
Outside of Japan the large luxury car from a non-luxury marque was decreasing in popularity fast and this was the last in the line of the 929 name plate.
One interesting feature was solar powered fans in the boot area designed to keep the interior of the car at a comfortable temperature when parked without using the cars battery.
