Nissan

Since the Datsun brand was phased out in the mid 1980s, the Nissan brand has been used around the world on a wide range of cars and trucks.

Nissan has become known for very sensible family cars that tend not to take many risks to produce popular and reliable vehicles. In contrast their Z-cars, Skylines and GTR model are fantastic performance cars offering brutal rear wheel drive power and amazing technology.

In 1999 Nissan joined an alliance with Renault and more recently Mitsubishi to share parts and technology.

Nissan operates Infinity as their luxury brand which is popular in the USA, but despite a protracted effort failed to gain much traction in Europe.
