Fitting kit to add a 2 channel amplifier or an active subwoofer to various Hyundai and Kia models built from 2008 to 2019 with an 18 and 24 pin connector for the radio. Not suitable for vehicles with amplified sound systems including cars with Infinity sound systems, Harman Kardon or original subwoofers.

This kit outputs 2 pre-out channels suitable for sending audio to a 2 channel amplifier or active subwoofer, along with a 12v amplifier turn on output to wake up the amplifier or subwoofer when the radio starts producing audio.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CARS WITH AN AMPLIFIED SOUND SYSTEM INCLUDING CARS WITH INFINITY SOUND OR AN ORIGINAL SUBWOOFER.

NOTE: If your car was built after 2016 then we recommend checking the connections on the back of the original radio. On many models the connector changed to a long 38 pin connector on the back of the radio with little change to the external appearance to help work out which set you have.

This connection kit includes:
1x SOT-HYU-005 SOT cable -  connects between the original radio and the vehicles radio wiring harness to split power and speaker outputs to be used by the amplifier.
1x Y cable -  retains the amplifier in the original radio continue running the cars speakers.
1x 2 Channel High to Low Level Adapter - reduces the gain on the pre-amplified signal from the cars radio (front speakers) and has RCA output suitable for sending audio to a 2 channel amplifier or active subwoofer. Additionally the adapter detects an audio signal and outputs a 12v amplifier turn on signal.

Adjustable tuning pots on the level adapter allow fine tuning to remove interference and to adjust the volume level on both channels.

PLEASE NOTE: This connection kit does not come with a subwoofer or 2 channel amplifier. An amplifier fitting kit is required. Many active subwoofers come with an amplifier fitting kit, but if not then a fitting kit suitable for most vehicles and active subwoofers or amplifiers is available here.
