Amplifier bypass cable for Lexus GS cars built between 1998 and 2002.

Allows you to connect a new aftermarket radio directly to the cars speakers after bypassing the original amplifier while retaining the original woofers and tweeters. This cable provides power and speaker outputs for the new radio.

The original Toyota/Lexus amplifier is located behind the glovebox. This cable provides outputs for the original electric antenna which need to be hardwired to the original small 5 pin connector from the back of the original radio. This cable is only suitable for cars built between 1998 and 2002 with a Toyota/Pioneer radio with model numbers 86120-3A530, 86120-3A531, 86120-3A541 or 86120-3A571. These can be identified easily as the SEEK/TRACK rocker switch is on the right hand side of the radio where as later models have the rocker switch on the left and are not compatible. This is not suitable for retaining the original radio on cars where the original amplifier has failed, it is only for use with an aftermarket radio with a built in amplifier.
