Reverse Camera input adaptor for 2014 onward Mazda 2 and 2014-2018 Mazda 3 cars with a 7" MZD screen.

Compatible with cars with an original colour 7" touchscreen MZD infotainment system. These are known as MZD or Mazda Connect infotainment.

This kit consists of an NTSC camera built into a replacement number plate light lens, power and video cables to run the length of the vehicle and a 28 pin reverse camera adapter harness to connect the camera feed directly to the rear of the original MZD screen. Also included is an alternative camera housing for the centre of the bumper as some later cars have different number plate lights and a cutout in the bumper with a blanking plate instead. The harness provides 6v power outputs to power the camera, but the camera is capable of running from a 6v or a 12v power source so can be powered elsewhere if required, but the camera must be powered before the screen when the car is started otherwise it will not turn on the reverse camera view.

The camera comes fitted to the numberplate light housing, the secondary blanking plate replacement housing is supplied and the camera can be swapped by the installer if necessary.

No coding is required and once connected the vehicle will recognise the presence of a reverse camera after an ignition cycle. Find instructions for this product here.

The adaptor has an 28 pin male and female connector with a RCA Phono camera input.
