Eagle

Find all things Eagle here.

Eagle was born from Chrysler’s acquisition of AMC, and was initially selling Renault based cars that had been carried over from AMCs ranges or had been in the final stages of development.

As the Renault based cars were replaced, they moved to a heavily Mitsubishi based range and finally was the first brand to offer the cab forward design language that improved Chryslers fortunes in the nineties.

A lack of brand recognition and all their products having equivalents in the Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth ranges – usually available in the same dealerships – did not work in Eagle’s favour and the brand was discontinued in 1998.
