This kit is only suitable for cars built between 2002 and 2005 with a Toyota/Pioneer radio with model numbers 86120-3A542. These can be identified easily as the SEEK/TRACK rocker switch is on the left hand side of the radio where as earlier models have the rocker switch on the right and are not compatible. The cable allows you to connect a new aftermarket radio directly to the cars speakers after bypassing the original amplifier behind the glovebox while retaining the original woofers and tweeters. This amplifier bypass cable provides power and speaker outputs for the new radio. The fascia panel uses side fixing brackets to fix the radio in the dashboard for a secure and professional looking finish.
