The B8 series of the A4 was the first to receive a 5 star safety rating from Euro NCAP, thanks to its new platform. This platform also allowed for shorter overhangs without compromising interior space, making this easily the most spacious A4 yet.
Again the standard range was soon complimented by S4 and RS4 performance versions.
