DAB and FM splitter for cars with DIN original antenna connectors, it can be used on other cars with the addition of an antenna adapter.

This uses the cars original FM antenna for outputting both FM and DAB signals to an aftermarket radio.

This amplifier takes a separate 12V supply feed from the car which needs to be hardwired.

Outputs the FM on DIN connector and the DAB on an SMB connector to suit the majority of aftermarket radios.

Included with this splitter is a par of T-tap connectors for connecting the 12v input to different gauges of wire, a double sided and self adhesive foam pad to stop the splitter rattling and a basic trim tool to avoid damaging trim during removal.

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION:

This interface is designed to be used in cars with passive or non amplified antennas.

Traditionally, this adapter is ideal for Asian, American and older European cars that have roof mounted whip antennas. Many newer European cars, such as BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen, have hidden antennas in the windows or discreet appearance bee sting or shark fin antennas which have signal amplifiers and filters built in, this product is not suitable for these cars. Check the type of antenna fitted to the car before fitting and please contact us before ordering if in doubt.
