This kit is only suitable for cars built between 1998 and 2002 with a Toyota/Pioneer radio with model numbers 86120-3A530, 86120-3A531, 86120-3A541 or 86120-3A571. These can be identified easily as the SEEK/TRACK rocker switch is on the right hand side of the radio where as later models have the rocker switch on the left and are not compatible. The cable allows you to connect a new aftermarket radio directly to the cars speakers after bypassing the original amplifier behind the glovebox while retaining the original woofers and tweeters. This amplifier bypass cable provides power and speaker outputs for the new radio. The fascia panel uses side fixing brackets to fix the radio in the dashboard for a secure and professional looking finish.
