Interface and ISO cables allowing use of original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket radio head-unit.

This interface allows use of cars original steering wheel buttons with compatible aftermarket radios and head units.

Suitable for Mercedes Benz car and van models with original Audio 10 or Audio 30 head units. These cars use two standard 8 pin ISO connectors and a 10 pin ISO connector in the back of the original radio.

As well as steering wheel controls this interface also provide an ignition output, illumination, speed pulse and reverse gear dependent on the vehicle it is fitted to. Some setup is required for this interface to recognise the vehicle and the type of radio fitted, instructions for this are provided.

Most compatible vehicles came with multiple original optional radios with different connections. Please check your original radio type. This interface is not suitable for cars with Audio 5, COMAND or later NTG original sound systems. Note that cars with a fibre optic BOSE (D2B) amplifier will also require fibre optic interface or an amplifier bypass cable or there will be no sound through the speakers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This product must be purchased with a suitable patch lead for the type of radio you are fitting. Please select the type of radio being fitted upon purchase to receive the correct parts. A universal option is available if you don't know what radio is being fitted yet, which provides a pack of all possible patch leads.
