Reverse camera and harness adapter for a range of Volkswagen cars and vans with Discover Media or Composition Media original radio. the harness connects to the quadlock connector on the back of the original radio and the original wiring harness and provides an RCA phono camera input, power and ground connections for the camera and a connection for the reverse feed.

Once fitted, the car will need coding to recognise the camera, we recommend this is fitted by a professional.

This kit includes the camera, built into a replacement rear central hatch handle which plugs into the original wiring loom. It comes with a converter and power cables, a  video cable to run the length of the vehicle and a adaptor cable to add it onto an original Composition Media or Sync Media head unit.

Note, NOT compatible with 1K8035150_ (Composition Colour) head unit models or some Composition Media head unit models that cannot be coded to accept a reverse video feed with the following model numbers XXX035820A, XXX035820, XXX035819A, XXX035819 or XXX035812. The head unit model number can be found by accessing the info/about menu on the head unit to check before purchase.
