Interface and ISO cables allowing use of original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket radio head-unit.

This interface allows use of cars original steering wheel buttons including phone buttons with compatible aftermarket radios and head unit. Additionally this interface has a CANBUS turn on signal for original amplifiers (including Dynaudio in Volkswagens and Canton in Skodas) and retains a basic climate control and parking sensor distance display in the Multi Function Display in the dial cluster on cars that had these functions on the original radio as seen below:

As well as the above car specific functions, the CANBUS interface provides a 12v ignition output, illumination and optional outputs to assist with more complex installs.  This interface makes a basic install plug and play.

Suitable for multiple Volkswagen group models with a 40 pin quad lock connection at the back of the radio and a highline MFD display. These vehicles are mostly fitted with RCD and RNS style original radios on cars built up to 2015. Please note that no radio station information or navigation signals is displayed on the original MFD display on the car.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This product must be purchased with a suitable patch lead for the type of radio you are fitting. Please select the type of radio being fitted upon purchase to receive the correct parts. A universal option is available if you don't know what radio is being fitted yet, but it requires building as per the instructions provided with it.
