Interface and ISO cables allowing use of original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket radio head-unit.

This interface allows use of cars original steering wheel buttons including phone buttons with compatible aftermarket radios and head unit. As well as steering wheel controls the CANBUS interface provides a 12v ignition output, illumination and optional outputs to assist with more complex installs. This interface makes a basic install plug and play.

Suitable for multiple Volkswagen group models with a 40 pin quad lock connection at the back of the radio. These vehicles are mostly fitted with MIB style original radios, marketed as Composition or Discover on cars built up to 2015. Please note that this adapter does not retain original reverse cameras or reverse sensor displays that were on the original radio.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This product must be purchased with a suitable patch lead for the type of radio you are fitting. Please select the type of radio being fitted upon purchase to receive the correct parts. A universal option is available if you don't know what radio is being fitted yet, but it requires building as per the instructions provided with it.
