USB adapter and extension to retain the use of the original dashboard mount USB socket when fitting an aftermarket head unit on the Volkswagen Transporter T6.

Connect this between the USB connection on the back of a new after market radio and the connection for the USB that was plugged into the original radio to maintain the use of the original USB socket on the dashboard with the new radio. Instruction sheet included.

This product is designed to work with the below pictured USB found above the glove box on the pre-facelift Volkswagen Transporter, California and Caravelle T6. The facelift (T6.1) which started production in late 2019 is not compatible.

This product replaces the circuit board inside the housing of the USB port to facilitate connecting it to an aftermarket radio. It is not designed for use with any other type dash mounted USB or AUX connection.
