ISO adapter harness for Volkswagen group vehicles with 40 pin quadlock connectors at the back of the radio.

Fits most models built between 2005 and 2017 and this adapter harness is designed to adapt from the original quadlock style connector in the dashboard to a standard aftermarket ISO connector to allow the fitting of a new radio without having to damage the original wiring or hardwire any connections from the new radio. Two power outputs are provided with bullet connections to attach FM antenna adapters or provide a turn on signal for an aftermarket amplifier.

This lead has a built in CANBUS interface which provides an ignition feed to the new stereo so that it turns on and off with the key. Additionally it will provide an illumination signal to dim the radio display when the headlights are on. The CANBUS interface is built into the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.
