Audi

Audi sits as the mainstream luxury brand of the Volkswagen group, competing directly with German rivals BMW and Mercedes Benz.

Audis presence was relatively small compared to its rivals, with only niche models such as the Quattro and RS2 Avant making any real splash in the market. Then in 1995 they released the first generation of A4 (the B5) to replace the Audi 80, which set new standards in fit, finish and perceived quality in the small executive sector.

The A4 was followed by a wider range of equally impressive cars, most of which can be optioned with the Quattro four wheel drive system, included as standard on the high performance S and RS cars models.

For many years Audi have been offering premium amplified sound systems and more recently Audi have rolled out MMI multi media systems in their vehicles which control many features through one central screen or control panel.
