1007 [2005 - 2009]

The Peugeot 1007 was an upright city car, designed with electric sliding doors to make entry and exit as easy as possible. Customisation of the interior was also possible with owner interchangeable coloured panels available for the dashboard and door cards.
While a sound idea, the large doors were very slow in operation and made this small car very very heavy. Speedy acceleration was not the 1007s strong point, and nor were sales. It was canned after 4 slow years.
The name is officially pronounced "One-thousand and seven" after the people behind the James Bond franchise kicked up a fuss about it being called the "One double O seven".
