Suzuki

Suzuki is a Japan based manufacturer of cars and motorcycles. While they are a small player in Europe, they have a strong presence in both Japan and India. Their Indian 'Maruti' range differs somewhat from the Japanese range with more utilitarian designs for some vehicles.

Suzuki stopped selling cars in the USA in 2012 as a combination of small cars losing popularity and an unfavourable exchange rate making the cars comparatively expensive was seriously hurting sales.

They have previously collaborated heavily with General Motors, had a short partnership with Fiat and are now selling a small number of Toyota vehicles to complement their home grown range of small cars and four wheel drives.
