Vauxhall
Founded in 1857 as a manufacturer of marine engines, Vauxhall later moved into automobile production in the early 20th century. The company has played a significant role in the British automotive industry.
Throughout its history, Vauxhall has produced a wide range of vehicles catering to diverse market segments, initially producing their own designs and then slowly under the ownership of General Motors their range was slowly moved to mirror the range of Opel. There have been a few odd exceptions where Holden vehicles have been imported with Vauxhall badging.
In recent years, Vauxhall and Opel has become a part of the Stellantis group, and the cars have slowly moved over to Peugeot based architecture.
