BMW is an abbreviation of Bayerische Motoren Werke and is a Bavarian manufacturer of both cars and motorbikes. They started out as a manufacturer of aircraft engines.

Their longstanding tagline ‘The Ultimate Driving Machine’ has cemented the idea of BMW offering extremely dynamic luxury vehicles with chassis design a cut above their rivals. This has proven a successful formula and they now own both Mini and Rolls Royce.

Their traditionally rear wheel drive chassis has made them a favourite of enthusiasts and their advanced iDrive systems have matured over multiple generations to become an all encompassing infotainment system. More recent sound systems have been unconventional by only having small midrange speakers and tweeters in the doors with the larger woofers under the front seats.
