Despite being a fairly recent addition to the UK car market, Dacia has been around for a number of years and first became associated with Renault in 1966 when they started producing versions of the Renault 8 and 12 under licence. In 1999 Renault bought Dacia and have grown the business substantially to become Romanias largest exporter.

Their range is comprised of cheaper cars, based on proven Renault components and have found favour with many value conscious buyers across Europe and North Africa. The most basic “Access” specification of the Sandero comes with only one speaker and no radio, but upgrade parts are the same as Renaults and easy to install.
